Dominic, 26, hails from Sault Sainte Marie, MI and now lives in the city of Marquette. Since graduating from Northern Michigan University in 2010 with a BA in English Graduate Bound Studies and Art History, he has been employed at the Peter White Public Library. Outside of 40 Below, Dominic is an active member in the community as a volunteer with the City of Marquette Arts & Culture Center, member of the President’s Committee on Diversity at NMU, member of the Marquette County Democratic Party, and mentor with the Student Leader Fellowship Program at NMU and the YMCA’s Reach and Rise Mentoring Program.
In his down time, Dominic participates heavily in the arts community; whether he’s the artist or simply supporting local musicians. As a former member of Zero Degrees Artist Gallery, he has exhibited his photography for years. Admittedly, Dominic most enjoys the times he’s able to play dress-up and perform for community events such as the annual Halloween Spectacle.
Dominic joined 40 Below because of the unique civic projects the group engages in but says that the monthly member socials make the organization a lot of fun.
